Dr. Jane Walker is Julia's mother. At Arctic BioSystems, Julia imagined Jane being present, but, in her imagination named her Jaye because, as a child, that is the way she pronounced her mother's name.[1]

Day 12
Jane was discovered to be in a box which was a kind of life support system and which was in the custody of Blake. Although she had aged since Julia last saw her, Julia recognized her. While the state of her health was unclear, she did not appear to be infected.[2]
Day 13
Jane reunited with her daughter was happy once more speaking of how she remembers her little girl, and when seeing Julia states how beautiful she's become as a woman, at the end of the episode Jane approaches Spencer when she see's her daughter captured by him, and tries to persuade him to let her go, only to have Jane end up having her throat cut with his scythe.
